FIFA Women's World Cup 2023: Sweden wins bronze

The Swedish women's team won the bronze medal at the 2023 World Cup. In Brisbane, the Scandinavians beat the host team of Australia - 2:0.

In the first half, Fridolina Rolfo opened the scoring with a penalty. And after the break Kosovar Asllani secured the advantage of the Swedes.

This is the fourth bronze medal for Sweden at the Women's World Championships. The highest achievement is the silver medals of the 2003 World Cup.
